'Prestwick Clubs' Spliced Neck Wood Shafted Wood Circa 1900 w/ Head Stamp

This offering is for a 1900 golf club that is stamped 'Prestwick Clubs' on its head. The club is also stamped '1109' in its sole. A lead weight is adhered to it for playing purposes, while it has a sheepskin grip and is in fair condition. There is much wear, as it has a chip in its face. Its head 3" long , 1 3/8" thick, 2 1/2" wide. There are 45 1/2" from heel to top of grip. This piece will come with a signed letter from Historian Bob Denney of the PGA, proclaiming that this item comes from their collection.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
