L.A.C.C. Hole 5 Tee Marker North Course
The Los Angeles Country Club in Beverly Hills dates its club history to 1897 with the current location in play since 1911. The North Course was the site of the first Los Angeles Open in 1926 and subsequent events in 1934-36 and 1940. In its second 100 years of golf this course has never been in finer condition as it prepares to host the 46th Walker Cup in 2017, and is reported close to a deal which would have it as host site for the 2023 U.S. Open. Previously housed in the Frank Stranahan collection, this heavy duty tee box marker dates to the 1950's adorned by the L.A.C.C. red flag logo still in use by the club today. Front of tee marker proclaims:
L.A.C.C.
