'Jupiter Island Vero Beach FL Cleveland OH' Joe Mitchell Club w/ Wood Notched Shaft Pat. 1909 - Very Good Condition
From the club maker Joe Mitchell is this club with a unique notched wooden shaft. On the top of the head this club has his makers mark with the different cities that he made clubs in, including two in Florida. Jupiter, FL, Vero Beach, FL and Cleveland, OH are said locations. On the Sole of the club is the Pat. date of Dec. 7, 1909. There is a Brass Weight and Horn Insert on head. The Notched Shaft is unique to most clubs of this time period. It has a very good condition Leather Grip, and only minor overall wear. It is 43" from the top of the grip to the heel of the club. This piece will come with a signed letter from Historian Bob Denney of the PGA, proclaiming that this item comes from their collection.

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, July 21st with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
