'Big 3' Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, & Gary Player Signed Photo in Green Jackets
Palmer, Nicklaus, and Player were known as golf's "Big Three," who dominated golf in the 1960's and are credited with popularizing and commercializing the sport during the television age of golf. The three have a combined 34 major championships, with Jack's 18 still sitting securely atop the golf world. Player's nine Majors are tied for fourth all-time with Ben Hogan, and The King won seven major championships.The "Big Three" first played together in a novelty match with Sam Snead in 1961, coinciding with that year's Orange Bowl, in what was also Nicklaus' professional debut. Palmer, Nicklaus, and Player each left their signatures here in black marker on this 8" x 10" of them in their green jackets.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
