Wood Bros Augusta National Golf Club Driver
Here we have a beautiful driver custom crafted for the Augusta National Golf Club. This custom cork filled center oil hardened persimmon club is from the Wood Bros Kool Cat series made in the early to mid 1990s. This club was crafted specifically for a member of Augusta National, making this very seldom seen and unique. The ANGC logo appears on the sole insert, as well as the Wood Bros logo on the head and shaft. The shaft is the emerald green often associated with Augusta National. Wood Bros Golf produced high quality persimmon clubs for such Major winners as Ben Crenshaw, Greg Norman, Bob Tway, Jeff Sulman, Wayne Grady, and Bernhard Langer. In the late 1990s and early 2000s professionals made the transition from persimmon and other wood clubs to the steel shafted ones still popular today. This club is stunning and is sure to be the star in any collection.
