Gold with blue enamel lettering this roughly half dollar size badge was presented to Walter Hagen for addmission and identification at any PGA tournament or event. This is similar to lifetime passes issued to Major League baseball players with ten or more years of service. The difference between the MLB and PGA passes is that Hagen joined Bobby Jones as only the second recipient of this badge of honor from the PGA. The "Haig" was the most dominant player in early PGA Championships winning five of the first ten events ever contested including a record four straight from 1924-27. His 11 Major victories made him an obvious choice for the first Golf Hall of Fame induction class. This cherished badge remains to this day free from any surfice damage and with attaching clasp firmly in place. A dignified momento from golf's "Greatest Showman" of sports "Golden Age".
