Vintage Large Penfold Man Display Statue - 20" Tall
Here we have the classic Penfold Man display statue. These were placed in pro shops in the 1920-40s as advertising. The slogan "He Played a Penfold" is inscribed on the base, as well as "Made in England" on the back. The substantial size and excellent condition of this piece is sure to catch the eye of many bidders. Founded in 1927 by Albert Ernest Penfold, Penfold Golf Ltd. was a British manufacturer of golf balls, gloves, and other equipment. Own a piece of vintage golf history with this lot. The base measures 7" x 7" and stands 20 1/2" tall.
