Vintage Edgewater, CC of Indianapolis, Memphis CC, & Geneva GC Scorecards with Stymie Gauge
This offering contains vintage stymie scorecards from Edgewater Golf Club in Chicago, Geneva Golf Club, The Memphis Country Club and the Country Club of Indianapolis. Each are significant to the history of golf in their own right, following is a brief introduction for each.
Established in 1897, Edgewater Golf Club in Chicagowas one of 15 charter members of the Western Golf Association in 1899. Chick Evans caddied and started there as well.
Donald Ross designed Geneva Golf Club in 1915, converting it from 9 to 18 holes. It features a "triangle of terror" in holes 15, 16 and 17.
The Memphis Country Club the turn of the century club is located on Seneca Lake and the oldest 9 hole course in Illinois 1900. In 1905 it was admitted into the Western Golf Association.
The Country Club of Indianapolis was redesigned by Pete Dye in 1992. It has held significant tournaments such as the 1978 US Women's Open and will hold the 2020 Indiana State Amateur.
These scorecards are each in very good condition, contain aesthetically appealing covers and stymies on the inside.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
