Vintage Chole Golf Club - Circa 1800
An eccentric club that I'm sure has peaked your interest. This circa late 1800's Chole club has a multi-faced head. The elongated face would be for driving while the other curved/hooked end is for shots that need some loft. Golf is believed to have been derived from a game called “chole”, a form of hockey that started gaining popularity in Belgium in the middle of the 14th century. An extraordinary club with it's own very unique history, a sure conversation starter as part of any collection.
