Vintage Billy Casper 'Billy Casper' Practice Bucket - Seldom Seen
With each player being an independent contractor on Tour each player is called on to handle his own marketing (although many now employ agencies). This offered lot was one of Billy Casper's early marketing efforts. Produced in Hong Kong this practice bucket featured a picture of Billy Casper and held up to 36 golf balls. This example shows use from hitting balls, picking them up in the bucket and repeating the process many times over. This bucket is complete with the original handle intact. The only previous sale of a similar bucket (which was signed by Billy) went for a sum of $788.90 in our 2015 June Auction, and that was without the original handle. This bucket makes a real eye catcher, and this marks only the second time we have seen this golf collectible.

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
