Tom Watson Signed Muirfield Village GC & Kansas City Country Club Scorecards
Tom Watsom was a long time competitor of Jack Nicklaus. Although they were usually competing against each other, their rivalry was always good in good nature as they grew to be close friends. During the 2012 Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village, Nicklaus honored Watson for his contributions to golf but also to making a lasting friendship. Watson will also always be remembered at the Kansas City Country Club. A number of great players have called the Club their home course through the years. However this Club is home to the five-time British Open Champion, Tom Watson. The skills Watson learned at the club helped him win eight major championships. This lot features scorecards signed by Tom Watson from both the Muirfield Village and the Kansas City golf courses.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
NEW AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, January 27th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
