Tom Watson Signed 2021 Masters Embroidered Flag with Years Won BECKETT #BB09311
The signing habits of Tom Watson have become well recognized in the collecting community, with single-signed Masters flags on the top of his memorabilia to avoid list. With demand already high for such flag, the inscription of his green jacket years 1977 and 1981 added below his signature on the INSIDE of the logo found here exponentially increases it. Finishing off the perfect storm is the fact that this is the most recent dated Masters flag, being 2021. Considering all contributing factors, this flag is a missing link in many collections.
In the 1970s and 1980s, Watson was one of the leading players in the world, winning eight major championships and heading the PGA Tour money list five times. He was the number one player in the world according to McCormack's World Golf Rankings from 1978 until 1982; in both 1983 and 1984, he was ranked second behind Seve Ballesteros.
