Tom Stewart of St Andrews Special Hand Forged Special 2 Iron

Here we have a special hand forged 2 iron by Thomas Stewart. Stewart was a renowned steel club head maker. Old Tom Morris used the clubs Stewart produced. Morris wasn't Stewart's only fan, as he made steel head for the likes of the McEwans, the Auchterlonies, and the Forgans. The head stamps appear as usual: the pipe cleek mark, Made in Scotland, and Tom Stewart's head stamp. The wood shaft is split and in poor condition, with a 4 1/2" area of wood missing. The club measures from the top of the grip to the bottom of the heel 38 1/2."
