The much heralded Tiger Woods hit the college campus of Stanford in the fall 1994 already with a pile of hardware on his mantel. This included both U.S.G.A wins at the Junior Amateur and U.S. Amateur level. This signed Titleist golf ball is from that time period. It was a must that you received your signed golf ball from Tiger by the first few months of his pro career which began in 1996. Since then he has steadfastly stood by his position of not signing golf balls. This was taken to the level of not even signing them for Upper Deck while he had a longstanding autograph contract with that company. The black sharpie autograph displays as a "9" quality of signature against the white dimpled ball. Since that day his golf game and his autograph have gone through numerous small changes in form, but the basis of both still remain the same in 2012. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this Tiger Woods autograph, and their letter of authenticity will accompany this lot.
