Tiger Woods & Jesper Parnevik Signed 1997 Pebble Beach Scorecard-Parnevik Would Famously Introduce Tiger to Elin Nordegren In 2001

Elin Nordegren, who many of us know would become Mrs.Tiger Woods, was working as an au pair for Jesper Parnevik and his wife, Mia, in 2001 at the same Isleworth neighborhood that Tiger lived in. At Tiger's request, Parnevik made the introduction and boy is the rest history. Away from the soap opera and back to golf collectibles, although this 1997 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am scorecard sure takes on added meaning with the Parnevik/Woods Sunday pairing which saw both players in serious contention for the title that year. This official players scorecard of Parnevik is scored in Tiger Woods' hand and carries his pencil signature as playing partner that day of Jesper. You will also find the pencil autograph of Parnevik in its appropriate Professional Signature location on the card. Parnevik's 72 that Sunday gave him a four day score of 274 good for a fifth place tie. Tiger would continue to show the promise that day, for the rest of the season and his career, going 63 and 64 on the final two days of this event to finish at -19, a scant one stroke behind champion Mark O'Meara. Tiger would go on in 1997 (his first full year on Tour) to famously win the Masters and lead the Tour in earnings for the first of many times. Parnevik as well had a solid 1997 season, finishing 12th on the Tour's seasonal earnings list.
