Tiger Woods Signed 2001 Masters Embroidered Flag - Framed
"Masterpiece" headlined the April 16, 2001 Sports Illustrated cover, emphatically summing up Tiger Woods' most recent triumph at Augusta National. Woods had completed the "Tiger Slam" that first week in April in 2001 during ANGC's "Tradition Unlike Any Other," what many consider the greatest individual performance of the modern golf era. This was Tiger's second Masters win and sixth Major championship during the prime of his career and reign over the rest of the golf world. Tiger carefully applied his large John Hancock to this 2001 embroidered Masters flag. This signature is Woods' calculated, sit-down version, with slight bleeding present. It is exhibited in a tasteful fame, paying homage to the historic win. A signed letter of provenance from Mitch DiMarco comes with this lot.
