Tiger Woods Signed 1997 Masters Journal W/ Pairing Sheets (Thursday-Sunday)
When you are an insurance agent you never know who might have connections to until you vet all of your clients properly. In the case of our consignor in this lot, his professional relationship with the father of a Stanford golfer on the lady's team scored this Tiger Woods signed 1997 Masters Tournament Journal. Penned only a couple months after attending The Masters Tournament himself, the connection with a single degree of separation was a shock - just how life is sometimes. Signature formation changes, allowing experts to date Tiger's specifically - with this the 1997-1998 version. The result of that tournament and its significance is still being celebrated 27 years later. Tiger Woods won the first of his 14 Majors at the 1997 Masters Tournament, beating Tom Kite by 12 strokes. also included are the four tournament round pairing sheet Thursday-Sunday. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
