Tiger Woods Signed 1995 US Open Logo Golf Ball - US Open Debut JSA FULL

Approximately a year or so before Tiger Woods cut off balls from his already limited list of items he would willingly sign, logo balls were already shied away from in general speaking. Interestingly enough he obliged for a fan while playing in a USGA professional event for the very first time - still carrying amateur status. That logo ball is indeed the 1995 US Open at Shinnecock Hills signed by a 19-year old Tiger Woods enjoying his days as a collegiate golfer at Stanford in his home state of California.

US Junior Amateur, US Amateur, it didn't matter Tiger Woods was winning it. An invite from the USGA to their 1995 US Open would show up in the mail for Tiger, as he was a qualifier by way of his US Amateur win a year prior. It would be his US Open debut, a tournament he would champion three times over - going nicely with his three trophies from each of his amateur USGA tournaments.

A certain premium is put on signed logo balls, especially in Tiger Woods' case and of course significant 'firsts' in the world of sport. This ball has both, Tiger Woods signed 1995 US Open at Shinnecock Hills logo golf ball. Competitor and fellow California native Duffy Waldorf added his name to the backside of this ball, only in eyesight after significant rotation of the ball. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their FULL letter of authenticity #X78285 comes with this lot.
