Three George Low Baltusrol Woods - Baltusrol(x2) & Special(W.W.)
Three George Low Baltusrol woods are offered here for bidders. George Lowe was the very first head professional at Baltusrol Golf Club, founded in 1895. Two of the woods are head stamped "Baltusrol" and the other is head stamped "Special W. W." All three come in great condition and present well. Low was not only a head professional, but made a name for himself as a golfer, finishing in 2nd place at the 1899 US Open. His son, George Low, Jr, wwas also a professional golfer and a renowned putter designer.
