The Prestwick Golf Scorer w/ Memoranda
As a stroke is taken, the Prestwick Golf Scorer is moved ever so slightly to reflect it. Bumping it or shifting it one way or another surely "accidentally happened" during some of the rounds this device was used during. Adorned with the holy name of "Prestwick," this vintage scoring device is a nice addition to a collection that pays homage to golf's origin or The Open Championship. Prestwick Golf Club lies in the town of Prestwick, South Ayrshire, Scotland, which is near Glasgow. It was established in 1851 and desgined by the great Old Tom Morris. The historic Prestwick Golf Club has held The Open Championship on 24 occassions. This piece is in cood condition, with painted numbers and letters showing little wear. 3 3/4" long, 2 5/8" diameter
