The East Devon Golf Club Official Handbook - Circa 1950

This offering includes Bernard Dawin's The East Devon Golf Club Official Handbook. Darwin was of course the grandson of Charles Darwin and one of the most accomplished golf writers in the sport's history, inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2005. A club founded on natural beauty and changes of elevation, The East Devon Golf Club was founded in 1902 by Captain Robert Tosswill. The current course that many have become accustomed to was majorly designed by Harry S. Colt, later added to by The Great Triumvirate member James Braid. This booklet is in very good to excellent condition, with the pictures acting as an additional report.
