Shinnecock Hills "First Clubhouse in America - 1892" Sportsman's Eyrie 1967 Print - Framed
About as far as one can go east on Long Island before hitting the Atlantic Ocean lies the land of the Shinnecock Indians. On this tract of land lies one of the most picturesque golf courses in the United States. Yes, the Pacific Coast has Pebble Beach, but once you have visited Shinnecock you will have similar feelings for its native beauty. Here we have a depiction of the first clubhouse in America at Shinnecock, and what it looked like when it opened in 1892. The frame measures 31 3/4" x 25 1/2" and is ready to display.
