Seve Ballesteros & others Signed Classic Los Angeles Open Golf Flag
The exclusive private club of Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles California has been host to The Los Angeles Open for nearly a century, as it began in 1926. It has gone through different sponsorships and currently carries the name The Genesis Invitational. The signed flag in this lot is undated, despite being from the 1988 playing in which Nissan was the sponsor. The late, great Seve Ballesteros signed this field signed flag along with other leading golfers and major winners of the day Nick Faldo, Craig Stadler, Hal Sutton, Scott Simpson and others. Seve left his full name signature in the top center in black pen, a golfer that is moderately challenging to find on flags. The flag containing bright graphics was produced by the local Fore-Par company of Huntington Beach, CA and carries the cloth tag on its reverse. There appears to be additional writing on it for the original recipient. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
