Seve Ballesteros Signed Official 1993 OPEN at Royal St. George's Used Scorecard
On the five year anniversary of Seve Ballesteros' third Open Championship triumph the Spaniard kicked off the 1993 tournament held at Royal St. George in Sandwich with a 2-under 68 round signing this exact scorecard upon completion. 'Severino Ballesteros,' is found in type on the top left corner of this tournament used Thursday scorecard - referring to his legal first name. Ballesteros signed simple 'Seve' in pencil on the competitor line. The day consisted of four birdies and two bogies and just two strokes off the lead entering the second round. Tournament-used scorecards from a Seve Ballesteros round, especially as the competitor, don't come up often. This is an Open Championship used scorecard, a tournament in which the great won on three occasions. An artist on the golf course, Seve was the ultimate showman. Great passion and creativity was shown around the entirety of the course when the Spaniard played. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval, and the clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will automatically close at 10pm EDT
4. All available lots will begin closing at 10pm EDT
Extended bidding starts at 10pm EDT, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
