Seve Ballesteros Signed 1983 Masters Badge #25712
This lot presents a series badge #25712 from the 1983 Masters, nice item but nothing to hang a (KEY) designation in the title headline. Now for what screams for us to add (KEY) to this lot. The badge carries the autograph of 1983 Masters champion Seve Ballesteros, in black sharpie prominently placed across the front surface of this week long admission piece. In this event Seve claimed his second green jacket victorious over closest challengers Tom Kite and Ben Crenshaw. The autograph of European sensation Ballesteros is prized on any format, but is extremely scarce on either of his 1980 and '83 Masters winning badges. Combine that with the fact that Ballesteros often signs only his first name Seve on Masters badges and you can see why this badge bearing a full name, rich penned signature which has been properly placed is imperative for the collector of this item to bid on, and own immediately. Rest peacefully Seve your bold go for broke style of play was a joy to watch at the Augusta National and over your Hall of Fame career.
