Scottsdale PING Anser TS1 35" Putter with Head Cover

Karsten Solheim, the founder of Ping, changed the putter as we know it in his garage in Redwood City, CA, creating putters that had weighted heels and toes as opposed to the blade or bullseye putters seen up until the 1960's. Weighting the heel and toe as opposed to the center made it so essentially the sweetspot was wider, thus improving putting greatly. The Ping Anser Scottsdale TS1 putter offered here also has a slot in the sole, improving the sound and feel of impact with the ball. This putter comes in what appears to be new and unused condition, the heel coming with a "TS1 35 Inches" sticker and a Ballnamic shaft sticker. The sticker on the grip reads "This tarnished Ping putter head is made from heat treated Manganese Bronze, four times the toughness of Brass. Turns uniform dark color (glare resistant) with few days use." This putter measures 35" from heel to end.

Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
