Presented here is a matted vintage image of Sam Snead and Wilson Golf President Fred Bowman. Snead has signed and inscribed the image in black ink as follows:
"To my very good friend & Boss Fred Bowman a great guy and a hell of a player.
Always
Sam Snead"
Sam Snead holds the record of 82 PGA Tour wins, though could never tackle the US Open, finishing in 2nd place four times in his career. The matting measures 14 1/2" x 12 3/4" and the photo itself shows some minor discoloration.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
