Sam Snead Signed 1937 US Open at Oakland Hills Official Scorecard

In his rookie season on Tour in 1937, Sam Snead played in his first US Open. He finished second that year, marking the first of four times that Snead would come in second place in the Open, the only Major missing to complete his career grand slam. Presented here is an official scorecard from the tournament in great condition, showing only slight discoloration from age. Snead left his signature boldly on the front in black marker.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, November 19th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
