Sam Snead 1969 Ryder Cup Captain at 'The Country Club' at Brookline Commemorative Golf Bag
A full size Sam Snead 1969 Ryder Cup Captain themed replica golf bag is offered in this lot. A sharp navy blue color backs the striking red stitching through this Miller Pro-Model Golf Bag. Details were not passed over as even the bag tag has a Medal Ryder Cup at The Country Club emblem weighing it down. The 1969 Ryder Cup ended in a draw at 16 points each, when Jack Nicklaus conceded a missable putt to Britain's Tony Jacklin. One of the most famous gestures of sportsmanship in all of sport had happened on the 18th hole. What resulted was the first draw in Ryder Cup history, and the United States team retained the Cup
