Robert Jones Jr. Spalding Kro-Flite Calamity Jane Putter - W.N.W.
Bobby Jones was a 13 time Major champion, including his own personal "Bobby Slam" in which he won the Amateur and Open Championships in the US and the UK in the same calendar year. Bobby was also the founder of Augusta National Golf Club and the co-founder of the Masters Tournament. Jones received the original Calamity Jane putter from Jim Maiden, the brother of his golf instructor, following a loss at the 1920 US Amateur Open. Here we have a 34" from the top of the grip to the heel of the club Calamity Jane putter made by Spalding in the Kro-Flite line. Winton. The original owner's initials W.N.W. is stamped in head. The putter has its leather grip and is in very good condition with only minor wear.
The Golf Auction will be on site this Tuesday through Sunday (July 31st - August 4th) at the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, Il. We will be accepting consignments, performing appraisals, and accepting bids. Stop by and say hello! We will be in Booth #1018

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, August 4th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
