Ray Floyd Signed GSV Golf Card - Rare
As many people that have approached Ray in person can confirm, there is a particular item that Mr. Floyd will not sign, and it is presented here in this lot. Even telling fans to make a color copy of the card and he would sign that, but not the card itself. Apparently there was a discrepancy over payment of funds for the GSV cards, which we can only assume, and so he has boycotted this card. This is the only one that The Golf Auction has seen. Ray Floyd's wins included four major championships: the 1969 and 1982 PGA Championships; the 1976 Masters; and the 1986 U.S. Open. He ranks among the oldest players to have won a major. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has thoroughly examined this autograph of Floyd, as well they should on an item this scarcely seen signed, and provides their letter of authenticity. Please, please if you are working on this set do not miss this opportunity as it is certain to not be seen again for a long time.
