2001 The Memorial Tournament Crystal Vase - Mark Brooks Collection

Offered in this lot is an intricately detailed vase with diamond and wedge cuts of hand-crafted fine crystal measuring 7" in diameter and standing 12" tall. From the first glance it is easy to recognize as a piece of Waterford Crystal. A closer analysis leads to it being front etched with THE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT and 2001. This piece was gifted to PGA player Mark Brooks by tournament hosts Barbara and Jack Nicklaus for his appearance in Jack's 2001 Memorial Tournament. Also of note the 2001 event was won by Tiger Woods for his third straight title at the event in route to his five career wins at Jack's event.

This great run of golf at its highest level has been highlighted by seven PGA Tour wins, his play as a victorious member of the 1996 United States Presidents Cup team, and of course his Major triumph at the 1996 PGA Championship.
