Picard, Palmer (4), Snead (3), Nicklaus (6), & others Multi-Signed(41) Uncut Proof Sheet of GSV Cards
A triumph of vast proportions was achieved when this full uncut GSV (Grand Slam Ventures) golf card sheet was signed with 41 autographs by each Masters champion on the card of their years triumph at the Augusta National Golf Club. The missing signatures are only due to the golfer unfortunately being deceased prior to printing in 1993, with the only two exceptions which can realistically be achieved being Larry Mize and Fred Couples. Also missing are the cards of Cary Middlecoff along with Ben Hogan chronologically possible, but highly unlikely due to health reasons on an oversize piece of this nature. Lastly is the card of 1976 champion Ray Floyd who has steadfastly refused to sign this issue for any that have inquired (not likely to be obtained). What it does have however, is bordering on the impossible. When is the last time on the same piece that you have seen six Jack Nicklaus' autographs, along with four Gary Player's, three Sam Snead and four Arnold Palmer's. You get the point, SPECTACULAR! Not to mention the difficulty of ever getting a signed Picard (D-1997), much less on a piece with this oversize grandeur.
