Phil Mickelson Signed NEC World Series of Golf Logo Golf Ball
Authentic Phil Mickelson autographed golf balls are undoubtedly the most difficult to find of any major champion. Even though Tiger Woods has virtually never signed a golf ball since he turned pro, they are much more common than signed Mickelson balls. Just ask the leading authenticators in the field - JSA and PSA/DNA. Phil Mickelson was born in San Diego and was raised there as well as in Scottsdale, Arizona. He went to Arizona State University, and quickly became a local favorite at the Phoenix Open where he won in 1996 and again in 2013. Over the years he befriended Don Bobillo who was known as "The 'Old' Caddy Master" for 38 years at the Phoenix Open. Bobillo was awarded with the "Volunteer of the Year" award by the American Golf Association in 1994 and was inducted into the Caddie Hall of Fame in 2003. Because of their close relationship, Phil signed a handful of balls logoed with Pro events that he had won. Offered here is a signed NEC World Series of Golf Logo ball. JSA has reviewed this lot and their full letter of authenticity will accompany this lot. This is one we know is a hole on the checklist for even the most sophisticated of autographed golf ball collectors.
