Peter Thomson Signed St Andrews Logo Golf Ball - 5x Open Winner
Australian golfer Peter Thomson found his greatest success playing in the Open Championship, which he won five times. Thomson is the only golfer to win three consecutive British Opens (1954, 1955, 1956) and also won in 1958 and 1965. Thomson left his signature on this St Andrews golf ball in black marker. Thomson won the 1955 Open Championship at St Andrews by two strokes over John Fallon. This ball will add nicely to any collection.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
