Peter Thomson Signed Royal Lytham & St. Annes Logo Golf Ball
Featured here is a Peter Thomson Signed Royal Lytham and St. Annes Golf Ball with a '58' inscription. The Australian golfer is best remembered for his five wins in The Open Championship. Thomson was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1985. His Open Championship wins came in 1954, 1955, 1956, 1958, and 1965. He was the only man to win the tournament for three consecutive years in the 20th century. Royal Lytham and St. Annes is the site of the Thompson's fourth Open Championship victory for Thompson, which was during the 1958 season.
