Peter Thomson Signed 1958 Open Championship at Royal Lytham Program - Friday

The 1958 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes saw Peter Thomson continue his Open dominance, as he went on to win his fourth Claret Jug in five years. It would take a 36-hole playoff for Thomson, who beat Dave Thomas in the first playoff at the Open since 1949. This marked the seventh consecutive Open Championship that Thomson finished as champion or runner-up. The program offered here from Friday July 4, 1958 comes in great condition, with slight discoloration throughout, as well as some paper loss to the back cover. Thomson left his signature on the front cover nicely in black marker.
