Peter Butler's 1973 Ryder Cup Team Jacket with Tie - Britain


Peter Butler made his first match appearance in the 1973 Ryder Cup with interesting fashion when Britain's Bernard Gallacher contracted food poisoning. Butler was summoned from bed just 1 1/2 hours before his tee time to replace Gallacher. Butler in his that match year on Day 2 of event became the first ever player to record a hole-in-one in Ryder Cup history. He aced the par-3 16th hole at Muirfield. His 1973 Ryder Cup Team Jacket and Tie are offered.
