Payne Stewart's Personal Book 'Tying and Fishing The Riffling Hitch' with Handwritten Note
"For Payne Stewart - ...I am pleased that they (fishing gods) smiled on your while in Waterville with a bright salmon," Trying and Fishing The Riffling Hitch' author Art Lee inscribed to Payne Stewart on August 6, 1998. Athlete and avid sportsman Payne Stewart was playing the Irish Waterville links in the morning, in preparation for the upcoming Open Championship. A signed letter of provenance from Tracey Stewart accompanies this lot.
