Fan favorite Payne Stewart claimed the first of his 3 Majors at the 1989 PGA Championship at Kemper Lakes Golf Club. Offered here is a matted magazine display commemorating that win, signed nicely by Stewart in black marker. Stewart was always popular with fans and photographers alike for his zany wardrobe choices and his absence was felt after his tragic death in a plane crash at the age of 42.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
