Payne Stewart Dual Signed Purported Tournament Worn FORE Golf Shoes
The late Payne Stewart's golfing ensembles are that of legendary status. The quite literally tour rock-star was a big believer in using accessories to pull an outfit together, the finishing touches of a masterpiece. It should be no surprise that when Stewart was approached by the smooth talking Tampa Bay salesman Don Warner with a proposal of putting his new line of exotic golf cleats on Payne's feet Stewart listened. 'FORE' golf shoes were quickly dubbed the "Rolls-Royce of golf shoes," by none other than Warner himself. Incorporating exotic animal skin in the design was part of the plan, with the Florida alligator on Payne's shoes that sat in his World Golf Hall of Fame locker. Warner especially liked the fact that the charismatic golfer's knickers-only dress code would put the shoes on full display. This example is a Size 12B white and blue pair with gold toes is signed with a flowing black sharpie by Payne Stewart on each purported to be tournament worn by the three-time major winner.
