Early patent clubs are highly desirable, as the maker was often trying to solve a problem with a design exaggeration or noticeable change of some sort. Contained in this lot is a Patent Pendulum Putter SCC MCoy Ltd Edinburgh No. 14812. Stampings on the head remain deep and legible, including 'Patent Pendulum Putter,' 'Pat. No 14812' and 'Sccmccoy Ltd. Edinburgh.' As with other pendulum putters, this example has equal weigh on either side of the head and a center shaft. The face carries crosshatching from the bottom to nearly the top. There are signs of aging and usage, however it remains in good condition. 31"
