The patent was for the offset hosel 90 years before Pings and Karston Expanded on it! Original shaft stamped "W Park" and from collection of Tip Anderson, famous St. Andrews Caddy. Club head stamp worn away from play and caddy cleaning. c1890 The story is that Park accidentally discovered offset idea when a wagon wheel ran over one of his putters and bent the hosel. He tried it, and liked it!
