Olympic Club 50th Anniversary Proclamation Honoring Jack Fleck
10 years ago marked the 50th Anniversary of the 1955 US Open held on the Lake Course of The Olympic Club, the oldest athletic club in the United States. On that day, a special proclamation was given to Jack Fleck honoring his historic 1955 US Open victory in a playoff over Ben Hogan. Many historical and memorable feats are listed on the proclamation which bears the Olympic Club seal as well as the signature of Al Clifford, President of the Olympic Club. Date stamped June 19, 2005.
