Multi-Signed 1991 Ryder Cup at Kiawah Program with Payne & others

This offering is for an impressive 1991 Ryder Cup program signed by the late Payne Stewart and 11 other golfers that played in the tournament. The "War on the Shore" 1991 Ryder Cup matches saw the US take back the cup, 14 1/2 to 13 1/2. Hale Irwin got to play hero as Steve Pate, after suffering a rib injury earlier in the week, was unable to compete and his singles match was halved by rule. Irwin was taking on the fiery German Bernhard Langer, who missed a 6 foot putt that would have won his match and retained the Ryder Cup for Europe. Instead Irwin held on an halved the match, claiming the Ryder Cup for the US for the first time since 1983. Listed is the official program signed by 12 participants. These golfers include: Payne Stewart, Mark O' Meara, Mark Calcavecchia, Steve Pate, Chip Beck, Paul Azinger, Corey Pavin (2), Ian Woosnam, Sam Torrance, Nick Faldo and Bernard Langer.
