Monte Irvin (HOF) & Jim Lonborg ('67 Cy Young) Baseball Stars Signed Golf Balls

A pair of autographed golf balls are offered here. Monte Irvin left his signature here on a baseball logo golf ball in black marker. Irvin was one of the early African-American MLB players. He won the World Series in 1954 with the New York Giants, was an All-Star in 1952, and acted as a mentor of sorts to Willie Mays when he was first brought up to the Major Leagues.
The other golf ball has been signed in blue marker by Jim Lonborg, the 1967 Cy Young award winner from the Boston Red Sox. Lonborg played for 15 years, also playing for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
