The United States Olympic Committee of 1992 commissioned Bart Forbes to paint "Shooting for Gold" to celebrate Michael Jordan and the unstoppable 1992 US Olympic Basketball Team. This Olympic squad was the first to feature NBA players and quickly deemed "The Dream Team." When inducted in mass as a complete roster into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame they were touted as "the greatest collection of basketball talent on the planet." This oversize piece is signed in equally dominant black sharpie by Michael Jordan and Larry Bird. Finding a Michael Jordan autograph on a one of a kind oversized (22x28) is next to impossible. When he signs for Upper Deck they do not accept outside items. Jordan autographs have been raising quickly since the Last Dance documentary appeared on ESPN. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their FULL LETTER of authenticity comes with this lot. This conversation starting, breathtaking stunner measures in at 28" x 22". Wayne Beck built his collection while caddying for Arnold Palmer and other prominent PGA Tour players including Sam Snead, Charles Coody, Lee Trevino, and others. The Wayne Beck collection comes to you as part of the Niblick Golf series from Jenni Pate. Jenni is the daughter of PGA Tour Pro and Major Golf Champion Jerry Pate and has started a video series on past golfer’s and prominent industry personalities collections. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
