Masters Inaugural Champions Dinner 1955 Photo In Green Jackets - Winners 1934-1955 Plus Jones & Roberts
In 1952 one of the best traditions in golf started, by the hand of one of the best golfers to ever play the game. Ben Hogan donned the green jacket for the first of two times the prior year and felt that the exclusive club past Masters Tournament champions should get together for an intimate dinner with Augusta National co-founders Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts. At this dinner it was about nice dining and even better company to share memories with. Fittingly this 1955 group picture is framed in gold, as it includes all the tournament champions from 1934 until 1954 sans Herman Keiser and Ralph Guldahl around Jones and Roberts. The image measures 12" x 15" with the frame and matting measuring 21" x 22". It is presented in excellent condition. This relic of competition at golfs highest level comes directly from the PGA where it has resided for over 75 years. From the collection of PGA REACH, with a certificate of authenticity accompanying this lot.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, April 14th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
