Masters 75th Anniversary Commemorative Medallion
Since the Augusta National put the Eisenhower tree on the 2014 commemorative coin, and it sold out quickly, everybody is going back and grabbing past years Masters commemorative issues to match. This highly visually attractive medallion/coin is from the 75th Anniversary year in 2011. It features in circular fashion a listing of each of the past champions of the tournament to date. You might wonder how would 2011 be the 75th Anniversary if the first tournament was in 1934? You also might know the answer, and that is due to World War II the Masters Tournament was suspended from 1943 to 1945.
Medallion has a diameter of 3", base is 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 3/4". It was only sold at the Augusta National the week of the Masters in 2011. A dated collectible that is certain to grow in value as the Masters gracefully ages into its second 100 years of play.
