This 29th Ryder Cup was a duel at the Ocean Course on the shores of South Carolina. The USA emerged victorious (14 1/2-13 1/2). Seve Ballesterous and Jose Maria Olazabal continued their outstandind Ryder Cup tandem with three victories and a halve. Fred Couples and Lanny Wadkins paced the US victory going 3-1. This deluxe shadowbox presentation has been enhanced with Ryder Cup items obtained on site at the course including a divot tool,ball,(2)key chains, and our consignors grounds pass (with gentle wear from the event). The USA's team signatures have been assembled in black sharpie with the European squad penning this 1991 Ryder Cup flag in red sharpie. Signatures of note on the flag include Hale Irwin, Lanny Wadkins, Ray Floyd Bernhard Langer, Nick Faldo and Jose Maria Olazabal each of whom has been already enshrined in the Golf Hall of Fame. Of special note on this flag are deceased Hall of Famers Seve Ballesteros and Payne Stewart. James Spence provides a letter of authenticity for all signatures present on this treasure.
